Buyers Lining Up To Buy iPad 2 For Business Not Pleasure

Like nearly other Apple product, consumers knew that the iPad 2 would be sold out nearly as soon as it was released. True to form, buyers were standing on line for hours just to get their hands on the coveted iPad 2 in the few hours that it was available. Some of the buyers wanted the iPad 2 to give to a relative, or just to add it to their growing collections of Apple products. What isn’t surprising is that many buyers were planning on flipping their purchases and making a profit.

Although it isn’t the holiday season the iPad 2 is still in high demand. Some people that Apple strategically offers a small amount of new products so that they can purposely be sold out within hours. This move insures that consumers will do whatever they have to in order to get their products. The plan has worked so well that consumers now have the chance to turn a profit. The iPad 2 can be found on auction websites and even classified ads being sold for two to three times the retail value. There is no way to tell how many of these electronic devices have been sold at a markup, but apparently this is a big business. Strangely enough, it seems that some consumers would rather pay a premium price for the iPad 2 rather than to backorder it and wait for it to arrive in a few weeks. As long as Apple continues to sell its new releases on a limited basis there will always be consumers look for a way to make a few fast bucks.
